My approach is tailored to the individual, using Counselling, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Yoga, Breathwork and Mindfulness.

From the person-centred counselling approach of Western psychologists, to the ancient Eastern wisdom of yoga and energy centres in the body. For meaningful and long lasting change I believe the issues we deal with require an approach that taps into the knowledge and research from both of these areas.

Traumatic experiences and distressing feelings such as anxiety and depression effect the whole physiology of our bodies and can be deeply imbedded in our subconscious. This may manifest itself in ways you don’t expect; physically with digestive issues and chronic pain, or through the stories and judgements we hold on our lives and who we are. The services I offer recognise the mind-body connection, work with the conscious and subconscious, ensuring all the work we do together is tailored to you as an individual.

Working Together

This is a collaborative relationship to explore your issues and seek the answers that lie within yourself. Creating the conditions for you to tap into the innate drive to reach your full potential, that exists in all of us. I may make suggestions of what to try, but you are empowered to choose what is and isn’t helpful to your healing journey.

At the core of my training and ongoing work, is the work I do on myself. I have come to see the importance on finding joy in the journey of working towards our goals, rather than the end destination. It feels a key part of our humanness to continually seek meaning and strive for reaching our full potential – a goal never met, and this is the beauty of it!
